Two minors raped in Harare

Two minors were raped in Harare’s Hatfield suburb on Saturday last week.

 The incident only came to light on Monday when their mother was bathing them.

Police confirmed the incident saying the unfortunate incident occurred
while the minors were in their aunt’s custody over the weekend.

“Police in Hatfield are investigating cases of rape where two minors
aged two were raped by an unknown suspect on 28/11/20. The minors who
are twins were left in the custody of their mother’s sister and the
offence came to light on 30/11/20 when their mother was bathing them.

One of the children was experiencing some pain in her private parts
and a medical examination revealed that both had been sexually
abused,” read part of a statement from the police.
