Two Zimbabweans have been killed in xenophobic attacks in South Africa, while 171 others affected by the violence want to return home.

Zimbabwe’s Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa told journalists in Harare on Tuesday that authorities will facilitate repatriation.

Over the weeks, thousands of foreign nationals in South Africa have been attacked by locals who accuse them of “taking our jobs”.

According to reports, 640 Nigerians have signed up for free flights back home following the attacks.
