More than a dozen African leaders are billed to grace the US-Africa Business Summit in the Mozambican capital Maputo, which will run from June 18 to 21.
Zimbabwe’s presidential spokesperson, George Charamba told ZTN News that the summit presents an opportunity for Zimbabwe to advance its re-engagement drive. He said the summit will also provide an opportunity for Zimbabwe to interact with hundreds of US business people.
Latest figures suggest that Zimbabwe’s Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows more than doubled to $745 million in 2018 from $349 million in 2017, on the back of a number of approved projects.
