TRIANGLE are banking on their eight-match unbeaten run against Rukinzo of Burundi in the CAF Confederation cup at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Although this is Triangle’s debut season in the competition, coach Taurai Mangwiro knows what it takes to go through the preliminary stage, having done so with Harare City as coach in recent years.

“We have gone eight matches undefeated which is a positive considering we once lost four in a row,” Mangwiro said. “The recovery has been tremendous”

In the CAF champions league, Norman Mapeza’s FC Platinum face Kalisto Pasuwa’s Nyasa Big Bullets in Blantyre on Saturday.

FC Platinum reached the group stages of the just ended edition and have set the same target for this campaign.

The Zimbabwean champions left Zimbabwe this morning (Thursday) for Malawi.
