Zambia tens organisers praise Wiseowl

The past weekend marked the 4 th anniversary of the Zambia tens rugby tournament which had four entries with Harare Sports Club, Matebeleland Warriors, Mbare Academy, and developmental side Wiseowl participating.
The Wiseowl team, headed by former Zimbabwe 15s and sevens player Tangai Nemadire, caught the eye of the organizers of the tournament as they made a statement by beating Zambian developmental teams only to lose in the final to Lusaka developmental squad after a hard-fought final.
Captain Hangala the media protocol officer of the tournament, said “Wiseowl came and performed very well. They taught our school teams one or two lessons and I hope that when they come back next year they will be better and older.”
This was the second appearance of the Wiseowl school in a club rugby set-up as they continue with their development. Their first appearance was at the tens tournament held a week ago in Harare where they beat four development squads.
