Zimbabwe’s power utility has announced that a fault at one of the country’s major power plants will see load shedding being effected between 4pm and 7 pm.
In a statement released on Thursday, Zesa Holdings disclosed that a technical fault is choking operations at Hwange Power Station.
“The technical fault will result in load curtailment of about 200mw during the evening peak period of 1600 hours to 1900 hours,” said Zesa adding that efforts to restore normal supplies are underway.
