Zim Cricket shutdown?

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) offices in Harare were on Monday closed for business following the suspension of the entire board last Friday.
Last week the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) dissolved the ZC board for conducting their elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) against the directive of the sports commission.
The SRC had raised reservations on the process and ordered ZC to halt their meeting.
But their order fell on deaf ears after the cricket administrators defied them, claiming to have received the backing of the International Cricket Council.
The AGM held in Victoria Falls early this month, had retained Tavengwa Mukuhlani as chairman for another term.
However, the sports commission flexed its muscles and suspended the entire board, replacing it with an interim one to run the affairs of cricket in the country.
