Zim in bid to resuscitate Wrestling

AFTER taking part in a seminar aimed at the promotion of traditional games held in Turkey, the Zimbabwe Wrestling Federation says it is ready for implementation.

The association’s spokesperson Tapiwa Masinire says they will come up with a roadmap in November.

“There are recommendations that were made in Turkey and we are in the process of implementing these for use in Zimbabwe,” said Masinire.

He added: “It is not only about Wrestling but other traditional sports. For wrestling of course, we are working on a number of projects like introducing the sport in schools, which we have already done.”
