Zim leader reshuffles Cabinet

Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reshuffled his Cabinet, reassigning ministers and appointing new ones.

Kazembe Kazemba is the new Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister, taking over from Ambassador Cain Mathema who now superintends the Primary and Secondary Education portfolio.

Ambassador Mathema’s predecessor at the ministry, Professor Paul Mavima, is now Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Minister.

Dr Sekai Nzenza is the Minister of Industry and Commerce, replacing Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu who moves to lead the Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Ministry.

New appointees are Daniel Garwe (National Housing and Social Amenities) and Jenfan Muswere (ICT, Postal and Courier Services). 

Deputy ministers have also been appointed: Marian Chombo (Local Government and Public Works), David Musabayana (Foreign Affairs and International Trade), Jennifer Mhlanga (Women’s Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprise Development), Yeukai Simbanegavi (National Housing and Social Amenities), Dingumuzi Phuti (ICT, Postal and Courier Services), Raymond Machingura (Higher and Tertiary Education), Tinoda Machakarika (Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation) and Clemence Chiduwa (Finance and Economic Development).
