Two of Zimbabwe’s major power generating units have been hit by technical faults.
The country’s power utility, Zesa Holdings, says there is currently limited power in the national grid due to faults experienced at Hwange and Kariba South Power Stations.
“The depressed power supply situation has also been compounded by the unavailability of normal import levels due to supply constraints in the region,” said Zesa adding that work on bring Hwange and Kariba back to speed was well underway.
