THE Zimbabwe premier soccer league has postponed its fixture schedule to pave way for the hosting of CAF Champions League action.
Defending champions FC Platinum host Etoile du Sahel this weekend in Bulawayo, and league action has been pushed further to give them a chance to compete in the continent.
CAPS United and FC Platinum lead the way to win this season’s league ultimate prize and with two games to go league authorities decided to host the final matches on the same day.
“The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matchdays 33 and 34 fixtures shall be played from Tuesday 10 December 2019 to Sunday 15 December 2019,” read a statement they released on Monday.
CAPS lead the way with a two point advantage over FC Platinum, but there is a potential final day thriller when the two meet on the last day of the campaign.
