Zim readies for new currency
New notes to start circulating on Tuesday
In preparation for the release of $10 and $20 Zimbabwe dollar banknotes, government has gazetted SI 103A of 2020, promulgating designs of the currency.
Gazetted last night, the development is anticipated to increase money supply and help curb the prevailing cash shortages. Until now, the highest denomination was a 5 Zimbabwe dollar bank note.
