Zim sevens struggle in Kenya

THE Zimbabwe Sevens rugby team’s dream of making an impact at the Safari Sevens tournament in Kenya was shattered after losing all three
games at the weekend.
This was a reality check for the Cheetahs ahead of the Olympic Qualifiers set for Johannesburg in November.
After their three losses on Saturday, the Cheetahs were forced to play for the consolation challenge trophy, losing 17-12 to Uganda.
Zimbabwe then lost 14-10 to Russian club Narvskaya Zastava in the semi- finals of the 13th-place play-off.
The Kenya Morans were the champions, stunning South Africa 19-14 in the
final.
