Zim Women sevens to compete in SA

Zimbabwe has been invited to participate at the second edition of the Hermanus Sevens rugby women’s tournament in South Africa.

The tournament starts on February 22 and Zimbabwe’s participation was confirmed by tournament organisers, Mozambique who will also be part of the tournament.

“Women’s Rugby 7’s from all over South Africa will be competing, including Zimbabwe and Mozambique,” reads a flier flighted by Hermanus, the tournament organisers.

Zimbabwe will be expecting to go a step further than they did last year. In the previous edition the lady cheetahs won a silver medal.
