Zimbabwe’s premier farming show, the Zimbabwe agricultural show is on this year, despite the covid-19 pandemic. The annual exhibition, which is normally held in August, will be held from 28 to 31 October, albeit under strict regulations. Organizers say this year’s edition will be a “strictly business” affair.
According to the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society’s acting Chief Executive Officer, engineer Enkelbert Makaure, as of Friday 2 October, about 120 companies had already registered for the exhibition.
This year’s edition will be a hybrid show with some aspects being virtual.
The commercial trophies will still be up for grabs but with particular focus on companies exhibiting the best adaptation or innovations in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
