Exhibitors at this year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show will get an idea of the potential benefit the country can get through its participation at the Dubai 2020 Expo.

The Dubai 2020 Expo is among the biggest global exhibitions in the world, and is expected to have 192 countries participating.

The Office of the President and Cabinet is using this year’s agricultural show to share with the country how Zimbabwe`s presentation in Dubai next year will be like.

In a statement, Commissioner General for Zimbabwe at Expo 2020 Dubai, Ambassador Mary Mubi, said businesses and individuals should use the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show to gauge how they can contribute towards Zimbabwe’s participation in Dubai.

“Visitors to the Agricultural show are encouraged to visit the Zimbabwe @ Expo 2020 Dubai stand, in order to see how they can leverage on the country’s participation at Expo 2020 Dubai. The country is being provided with a unique opportunity to utilise the Expo platform where 15.7 million visitors are anticipated during the six months, which equates to a total of 25.2 million visits,” the statement read.

“The top source markets of the international visitors are India, Republic of South Africa, United Kingdom, Oman, United States of America, Pakistan, Iran, Germany and Russia,” added Ambassador Mubi.

Since beginning its reengagement drive, Zimbabwe has been pursuing multiple avenues to try and attract Foreign Direct Investment, with the Dubai platform being the latest it seeks to utilise.
