Zimbabwe’s social security board soon to be announced

MEMBERS of the National Social Security Authority (NSSA) board, have been identified and will soon be announced.

NSSA is the statutory corporate body tasked by the Zimbabwean Government to provide social security.

In an interview with ZTN news, Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Minister Dr Sekai Nzenza said two of the members who had stalled the process are now on board.

The two are from labour organisations and will join Cuthbert Chidoori (Chair), Priscilla Mujuru, Mfaro Moyo, Cecilia Alexander and Arthur Manase.

The new board will be faced with a mammoth task of implementing recommendations from the NSSA Forensic Audit which raised a number of anomalies.
