TWO Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority rangers have gone missing in the Matusadona National Park, near the resort town of Kariba while on a routine patrol.

Speaking to ZTN the authority spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo said a search is under way for the rangers who went missing on 31 December on new year eve. He said Zimbabwe had asked its neighbour Zambia to help in the search.

“We have reported the matter to the police and we have deployed helicopters and other resources so that we get to the bottom of the matter,” Farawo said.

The names of the 2 rangers have not yet been released.
