Zimbabwe’s domestic Pro 50 cricket competition will run concurrently with the Pakistan series.
A fixture seen by ZTN shows the Pro 50 competition starting on Independence Day (18 April) and ending on the 26th.
During the same period, Zimbabwe and Pakistan will be engaged in a three match T20 International series slated for April 21, 23 and 25 in Harare.
Zimbabwe players would have played some T20 cricket leading up to the Pakistan series since the Domestic T20 competition will run from April 10 to 15.
The T20 competition’s third place play-off and the final will be played on the same day in Harare.
From the shorter format teams will shift to the 50 over competition which will mark the end of the season affected by the pandemic.
The 50-over competition will be a round robin format.
Pakistan are currently in South Africa playing three Odis and four T20 Internationals.
In Zimbabwe they will play T20Is and two Test matches in a bio-bubble secure environment.
