Zimsec pushes exam dates

THE June 2020 National Ordinary and Advanced Level examinations are set to start on Tuesday, June 30, the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council has said.

Initially, the exams were supposed to be held from June 22 to July 22.

However, Zimsec board chairperson, Professor Eddie Mwenje, said while ‘A’ Level examinations will end on Thursday, July 23, the last June ‘O’ Level exam will be written on Monday July 20, 2020.

He said examination centres should observe Covid-19 pandemic regulations.

Meanwhile, the examinations board extended the November 2020 registration session to June 25, 2020 to accommodate students who wish to alter their exam schedules or had initially failed to pay.
