Zvasiya return in limbo

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender, Lincoln Zvasiya has failed to quickly make an impression on CAPS United coach, Lloyd Chitembwe.
Zvasiya, who had a brief stint in Europe with Greek side OFI Crete, started training with 2016 champions and was expected to improve their backline which has been breached 16 times in 14 matches.
But when asked about recruiting the 28-year-old defender, Chitembwe insinuated that he wanted more time to assess the player.
“We are not in any hurry to sign new players. We only lost one player so why should we sign 10?
“If we are getting another player maybe it will be a direct replacement,” said Chitembwe.
The once highly rated defender has fallen off the map in recent years despite showing great potential at the beginning of his professional career.
He was one of the standout players in the Aces Youth Academy team that included Warriors captain, Knowledge Musona, Khama Billiat and George Chigova among others who have gone on to do well at senior level.
